It's all about love

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1 John 4:8

Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am glad to meet you all through another post on love. Of course, this post could be endless as the entire book of Bible is about God's love. But, I thought of sharing you some of the perspective that God put in my mind about love through the scriptures. Let's see about love and discipleship in this post.

Let's examine the following verses of Jesus on discipleship from Luke 14.

Two Kingdoms

For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son. Col 1:13 NLT

Greetings to the readers in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am writing this article on January 31, 2021. God has rescued us from all the evils that are happening around us in the world and keeping us safe. In the high priest prayer in John 17, our Lord prayed to the Father not to remove us from this world but instead save us from the evil. John 17:15. As per the prayer of Jesus, He is keeping us from the evil. One who carried us thus far, will carry us for rest of the time until He returns back. Praise Him.

As per the title, I got a hint from the Spirit of God to write about the two invisible kingdoms that are at work among us. The title which was taken from New Living Translation says there are two kingdoms. One is the Kingdom of darkness and another is the Kingdom of his dear Son, Jesus Christ and that refers to the Kingdom of light. Col 1:12. It was the first message of John the baptist calling, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" Matthew 3:2 and Jesus too started to preach with the same verses in Matthew 4:17. The first blessed one of the sermon of the mount starts with Blessed are the poor in Spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven and the last of the list says, Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3,10. So, the list starts with kingdom of heaven and ends with kingdom of heaven. Before going to the cross, Jesus told to Pilate that His kingdom is not of this world. John 18:36 and after resurrection, Jesus was teaching His disciples about Kingdom of heaven. Acts 1:3. So, if there is one thing that Jesus preached when starting His ministry, throughout His ministry, before His death and resurrection and after His resurrection, then it is about the Kingdom of Heaven.

Now, let's see why Jesus had to preach about the Kingdom all the time. To understand this, we need to understand why Jesus had to come to this world first. We all know the mission of Jesus is Restoration of all things as it was before the fall. If you have gone through the earlier articles, you would have been clear why God had to create humans? The answer is in Malachi 2:15, where God wants a Godly seed for Himself so that He can love them and receive back love from them. He wants a Godly generation, a people who think like God, speak like God, act like God. So, He created Adam and placed Him on the earth. The earth is not heaven but a separate place created for humans to live. He created them in a different form than Him where the spirit lies within flesh. We saw about these in my earlier posts, so not going in details. But, Adam and Eve created in flesh couldn't work through Spirit and yielded to temptations through the flesh by devil.

In other words, God created the earthly Kingdom and handed that over to Adam and Eve. He gave them all dominion over all creation. Gen 1:28. As they disobeyed the only one commandment, they were given, satan became the legal ruler of the earthly kingdom and he started to rule over humans and all creatures. It was not lie when devil said to Jesus that all the earthly power and glory was delivered to him as in Luke 4:6. But, he is not the ultimate authority and that authority is only for a time. Jesus came in to the world to restore that authority back to humans in a legal and rightful way. Jesus said that in Luke 19:10, For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. He legally paid for all the sins of all humans from Adam to last man of this world in cross and that's why the scriptures call Him second Adam or later Adam. This is the primary mission of Jesus, that is to restore what Adam has lost.

But, as the title says, there are two kingdoms at work in this world. In fact, God originally designed in such a way, when He created both light and darkness and day and night for this earth. That means, there are two things which will be present in this world, they are good and bad. The world we live in is a world of opposites or dual things exist, good and bad, happy and sad, life and death and many others. But, at the end, this will be separated permanently. Good and bad will be separated eternally in new heaven and earth as in Revelation 21. Back to the kingdoms, there are two kingdoms in this world. One is Kingdom of heaven and the other is Kingdom of this world. If there is a kingdom, then there has to be a king. So, Jesus says to Pilate that He is indeed king but His kingdom is not of this world. John 18:37,36. That means, Jesus is the King of Kingdom of heaven. So, who is the Kingdom of this world? Jesus identifies that devil is the King of this world. John 14:30, He says prince of this world is coming and he has nothing in me. Jesus has nothing to do with or nothing common with this prince and it clearly means he is the god of this age, satan.

So, we identified the kingdoms and the kings. But, we may think the kingdom of the world is at present and the kingdom of heaven is coming during the return of Jesus. Though this is true, this is not fully correct. The Kingdom of God (heaven will be established by force when Jesus returns back. But, the Kingdom of God was already established and in force when Jesus came back 2000 years ago. John the baptist and Jesus preached the Kingdom of heaven is near. If you don't believe that, then just check the response of Jesus to Pharisees that Kingdom of God will not come apparently but Kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:20,21. So, when exactly it came? It came in when the King, Jesus was born and the Kingdom was in force from the time when Jesus started His ministry. There is another verse that confirms this work of Jesus brought Kingdom of God to them. But If I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. Matthew 12:28. Same verse is mentioned in Luke as, But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. Luke 11:20. So, the Kingdom of heaven was at work from the time of Jesus ministry and it was strongly established from the time when Holy Spirit took over the disciples and the Church of Christ was in force from the day of Pentecost.

When Jesus returns back, the Kingdom of the heaven will take over the Kingdom of the world by force. Now, every person who is born and living in this world belong to one of these Kingdoms. When a man born, he is under the kingdom of darkness or this world's kingdom by default. But, when he recognizes the light and come to Jesus Christ, who is the true light of this world, then He is entering the Kingdom of light. This is the only choice we have. Either enter the Kingdom of the Son of God and receive the gift of eternal life or be in kingdom of darkness and perish. God is good that He provided a way for all of us to enter His kingdom through the death and resurrection of His only beloved son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He himself has to bring one to the light.

Jesus Christ, the king of the kingdom of heaven, operated in this world by attacking the opponent king. Though there are two kings, the one is far greater in power and glory than the other one. Jesus is far greater than devil in His power than the devil. The scriptures applies that to us as well. Greater is the one who is in you than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. Wherever Jesus went, the demons ran away. Jesus manifested that power to resurrect the dead. He condemned the evil works of the world. If we carry Jesus with us, are we manifesting the power. We are also supposed to attack the powers of the devil. We should tell about the kingdom of light to the people who are under the power of darkness. That was the mission given to Paul. When Paul explains His mission to king Agrippa, he says Jesus gave him the following mission, "for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and  from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee. To open their eyes,  and to turn  them from darkness to light, and  from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me." Acts 26:16-18. Peter also says the gist of this in his epistle as "But ye  are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:" 1 Peter 2:9.

Are we able to display the works of the kingdom of heaven ? Are we in kingdom of heaven or kingdom of the world. We can easily identify that. We will do the works of the kingdom that we belong to. If we belong to the kingdom of heaven, we will do the works of the heavenly kingdom and heavenly mission. But, if we do works of darkness, then that means we are under the kingdom of darkness. Following verses talk a great detail about the works of kingdom of darkness. Ephesians 5:3-14. Let's meditate the above verses and about the two kingdoms and work to expand the kingdom of God in these last days.

All glory, honor and praise to God the Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the Lord bless you and protect you, may the Lord shine your face upon you and provide you His abundant grace. May the Lord make His countenance upon you and provide with you His divine peace through out this year and for the time to come until His return. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of the Father and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Praise the LORD for carrying us through 2020

It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. Laments 3:22

Greetings to the readers in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ !!!. I am writing this on Dec 31, 2020. Less than 24 hours to enter the New year 2021, I believe it is the time to look back and reflect on the year 2020.

Let's thank God Almighty, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ as He brought us to the last day of this year. As we look back this year, we could think of the losses, pains and troubles we came through. Some of us might have lost our dear ones or had suffered health issues, business or job loss and might have experienced other difficulties. But, God is faithful and brought us thus far. He says, "Like a man carries His child, I have carried you." Deut 1:31. The one who brought us safe thus far will still lead us until we reach Him in glory. Psalm 48:14

Let's look forward and enter the year 2021 with unwavering faith. The birth pangs the world is going through will increase as per the scriptures. But, this is the time, we should look up as our Lord instructed in Luke 21:28, "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near." Whatever the troubles of sufferings may be, greater is His promise, "Behold, I with you all the days until the end of this age." Matthew 28:20. Let's all put our burdens on His unfailing Word and go to Him.

He calls us saying, "Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30. Let's turn to Him and then our souls will get much needed rest. He said to His disciples that, "Peace I leave with you. I am giving my Peace to you and not like how the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid." John 14:26

Let our hearts and eyes fixed rock solid on Jesus Christ (Word of God) this new year. He says, "Be still and know that I am God." Psalms 46:10.

In this New Year 2021, I speak the High Priest blessing on you,

The LORD bless you and protect you

The LORD make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.

The LORD lift up His countenance on you and give you peace.  Numbers 6:24-26.

All glory, honor and praise to the Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

38 years

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psalm 90:12

Do you know the Israelites who came out of Egypt wandered for extra 38 years than the originally planned 2 years? That makes a total 40 years in wilderness. During the second year, they struggled against God saying that He had brought them to die in war against Canaanites provoking God to give them a curse that for each day the 12 spies spied the land, they will spend one year making it a total of 40 years. But, it is actually 38 years from the time the spies were sent.

Following verse confirms this, And the space in which we came from Kadesh–barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, was thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were wasted out from among the host, as the Lord sware unto them. Deuteronomy 2:14

You might ask what's there in it. In New Testament, who is the person with longest illness but was healed by Jesus? The woman having a blood issue suffered for 12 years. The woman with her back bowed was affected for 18 years. But, it was the man at Bethesda pool who suffered for a maximum time of 38 years. John 5:5

So, what is the connection? The man represents the unbelieving Israel and it took 38 years for them to wander in wilderness before crossing Jordan. Same way, the man healed after 38 years. But, what is more interesting is the present connection of 38 with respect to Jerusalem. In July 1980, the Jerusalem law was passed by Israel declaring that Jerusalem is the Sovereign capital of Israel. The, then president Ronald Reagan supported Israel but never accepted Jerusalem as Sovereign capital of Israel. Then, Bill Clinton said that he will recognise Jerusalem as capital. All the presidents from Clinton to Obama waived off the decision which comes to their review once in 6 months.

But, the time came. God brought Donald Trump to the power in 2017 in a super natural way. Trump declared Jerusalem as the Sovereign capital of Israel in December 2017 and moved the US embassy to Jerusalem in 14, May 2018, which is also the 70th anniversary of the independence of Israel. This is exactly the 38th year from 1980.

We could see God's hands turning history to accomplish His prophecies. Now, we are at the 40th year from 1980. The number 40 represents divine appointment. As we map 38 years, our Lord is going to turn His attention to Israel to find the final remnant portion as per Romans 11:5,25 and Zeccharia 13:9. This will match the healing of man at Bethesda after 38 years of illness. God will bring His revival for Israel and complete all His prophecies in the forthcoming years as per Acts 3:18-19.

So, let's watch and pray as we don't know the hour the groom will come for His bride. We are also in the 73rd year of Israel independence and 73 is a significant number.

There is another interesting fact with the number 38. We all know the smallest chapter in the Bible is Psalm 117 that has just 2 verses. But, do you know there is only one book in the Bible that has 2 chapters. It is the book of Haggai which is the 37th book. But, what is more interesting is this book has exactly 38 verses in total !!! Amazing, isn't it? Number 2 represents Son of God and grace and truth.

All glory, honor and praise to the Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

2023/2024 Year of great significance and possible year of rapture?

Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13

Greetings to the readers in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. I am writing the 51st article in christianlifeonline after a long time. The day of writing this is 14-November. I am going through plenty of troubles and please keep me and my family in your prayers that God delivers me out of all troubles and give me rest.

In this chapter, we are going to see an important information about why 2023/2024 could be the year of our blessed hope. The title verse Titus 2:13 says the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ for us is that glorious hope and we are called to look for that. God gave me some revelations couple of years back regarding what could be the possible year of this blessed hope can be. You may well ask, our Lord said that no one knows the day or the hour. The Lord told only we cannot know the day, but still we should be able to know the year if we argue literally. But, I am not going to assert it will definitely happen in the year 2023 but I am just wondering based on the proofs. Again, it is my opinion but what I am sure is the year 2023 is going to be very significant based on the following revelations. Let's directly get into the evidences.

To prove any matter in the Bible, we need minimum 2 or 3 testimonies as per 2 Cor 13:1, John 8:17 and Deuteronomy 19:15. Let's see how 2023 can be arrived based on the witnesses from the scriptures.

1. The first and primary evidence is derived from the age of Abraham. If you calculate the ages from genealogies of Genesis 5 and 11, we can derive that Abraham was born on year 1948 from the creation of Adam. It can be confirmed from the following link, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_Genesis_patriarchs. So, the father of the nation of Israel was born on the year 1948. What is amazing was, the nation of Israel was reborn nearly after 2000 years in 1948 AD after their dispersal in 70 AD. Is it a coincidence? Definitely not, God has appointed in this way so that He can reveal more secrets for a later generation. We are that generation. You may ask what is the secret. The huge hidden clue is Abraham left to the land of Canaan at his age of 75 Gen 12:4 which is 2023rd year after creation of Adam. So, shall we move to our eternal Canaan in year 2023 AD? How amazing and how significant this evidence is? More to follow. Check this video about Abraham's timeline - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idWIsc-YBHI

2. The second evidence is from Daniel. The chapter 12 of the book of Daniel says this, And from the time  that the daily  sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. Daniel 12:11,12. The abomination of desolation could mean multiple things. One of the things could be the Al Aqsa (Dome of Rock) mosque standing on the Holy Temple mount site. This structure's basement was laid on 688 AD. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dome_of_the_Rock. One day can be considered as one year as per Ezekiel prophecy in Ezekiel 4:6 and Numbers 14:34. So, if we add 1335 years to 688 we come to 2023 AD. The popular 1260 days addition from 688 leads to 1948. Check this video out for more details, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUy5s61S3ks

3. Hebrew year of 2017/18 is 5777. Lamech was aged 777 and 5 years after his death the great floods started. So, there are 5 years. In 2018, Billy Graham passed away and then in May 14, 2018, Donald Trump moved the embassy of US to Jerusalem signifying the 70 years of independence in 2018. This is on Hebrew year 5778. But, 5 year addition will reach 2023. Number 5 stands for grace.

4. When Joshua led the Israelites to Canaan, there are 5 years of war before rest. How can we be sure that there are only 5 years of war as it is not directly given in the scriptures. We have a clue in Caleb's age. By calculating it we can derive the number of years of war before rest is attained. Joshua 14 contains this important clue. The first 3 verses of Joshua ascertains that the sharing of the land happened which says that the war was over. The last verse of Joshua 14 says that the land had rest from war. Now, Caleb says that he was 40 years old when Moses sent him to spy on land in verse 7. In verse 10, Caleb says that he is 85 years old. Wow, that gives clear information. We all knew that the Lord pronounced judgement on the rebelling Israelites that they will not enter the promised land for 40 years which means Caleb crossed the Jordan river at his 80 years of age and then there were 5 years of spiritual war from 2018. So, now we are in the time of war, so don't run out of patience.

5. The last major war between Israel and a group of Arab nations was the Yom Kippur war and that happened on 1973. We will reach the jubilee year from this war in 2023.

6. Most popular chapter in the entire Bible could be easily Psalm 23.

7. Three 3 digit triangular  numbers are mentioned in new testament. They are 153 (John 21:11), 276 (Acts 27:37) and 666 (Revelation 13:18). Here, the first star number is T(17) = 153 and second one is T(23) = 276 and T(36) = 666. So, the initial tribulation started at 2017 and rapture might happen in 2023 and final tribulation could start at 2036. But, this is just a speculation. Search for triangular numbers in the google. That will be interesting.

8. The festivals of Israel that point to Jesus birth, crucifixion, resurrection and Holy Spirit's downpour on pentecost and same chapter also gives information about fall feasts about feast of trumpets, day of atonement and tabernacles. These festivals may correspond to rapture, armageddon war and 1000 year reign start of Christ. All of these festivals are mentioned in Leviticus chapter number 23.

9. There are 2300 days given in Daniel 8:14 and 23000 Israelites were dead in one day as given in 1 Cor 10:8. They have base number 23.

10. Psalm 90 was written by Moses hides very important information. In that Psalm, the God's man Moses prays to God to teach them the wisdom to count the number of days. In the same Psalm, there are two important numbers. One is verse 4 that says 1000 years is a day in the sight of the Lord and equal to a watch (People usually miss the 'watch' stuff here but it is very important as Jesus said he would return in 2nd or 3rd watch Luke 12:38,39. This is another point, but let's not go into that now.). The second important verse in Psalm 90 about numbers is verse 10 where Moses says the days of our years are 70 and by reason of strength 80 years. But, the age during the period of Moses is well more than 100. Moses himself lived for 120 years and Joshua for 110 years. But, why Moses is saying 70 or 80? The 'our' in that verse doesn't mean the individual but it means the nation of Israel itself and now we know Israel is 70 years and it is already moving to 80 by reason of strength. But, the midpoint would be 75 which would be 2023.

11. 23 is the last single digit prime number i.e. 9th prime number and addendum of the digits 2+0+2+3 gives 7, the number of perfection.

12. Originally, the Old testament is written in Hebrew and New testament is written in Greek. There are total of 22 Hebrew letters that means completion and 23 is the next number. The greek language consists of 24 letters and the midpoint of 22 and 24 is 23.

13. The 22nd book of the Bible is Song of Songs that depicts the readiness of the bride. But, the 23rd book Isaiah is the first prophetic book that has 66 chapters corresponding to the 66 books of the Bible. So, 23 book represents the overall fulfillment of the entire scriptures.

14. We all know that the smallest chapter in the entire Bible is Psalm 117 and contains just 2 verses. But, we may not know that the only book that contains 2 chapters is the book of Haggai which is the 37th book of the Bible. Number 37 signifies Wisdom in Hebrew. This book contains 38 verses out of which the first chapter contains 15 verses and the second chapter contains 23 verses. This could mean 2015 to 2023 could be the initial tribulation times.

15. The first verse of the Bible Genesis 1:1 has a Hebrew gematria value of 2701. You may google search this one. But, the middle word of this verse is Aleph-Tav (first and last letter of Hebrew alphabets and this corresponds to Alpha Omega in Greek alphabets) that has numerical value of 401 (Aleph - 1, Tav-400). Jesus said that He is Alpha and Omega, the first and the last and the beginning and the end. If we subtract 401 from 2701, we get 2300.

16. In science, there are 23 pairs of chromosomes in humans.

17. One more coincidental factor I just observed is the number of articles I wrote in this blog. Surprisingly, I wrote 23 articles in 2017, may be a symbolization of 2017 - 2023. I wrote 5 articles in 2018. 2018 + 5 = 2023. I wrote 4 articles in 2019, 2019 + 4 = 2023. Just an interesting thought.

18. A personal revelation. I was given a triple sign about the number 390 in a span of 2 days in month of April 2019. I gave my watch for repair service on April 27th morning, then I bought a Bible and the price of the Bible is Rs. 390. Then, that evening I went to collect my watch and the repair cost is also Rs. 390. Ok, it can be a coincidence. But, the next day evening on April 28th, I went to near by computer shop to buy a samsung in ear headset and the rate mentioned in the box is Rs. 450. When I asked for the cost, the service boy told it is 500. Then, I asked the amount mentioned is just Rs. 450. For that, he told he will cross check and called other person and then to my surprise, he told the amount is Rs. 390. This is astonishing, right? 3 instances of Rs. 390 in just 2 days.

Cannot be a coincidence and I believed God is communicating something to me through numbers and then I prayed to the Lord to reveal it. After some time, it suddenly struck me Ezekiel chapter 4. God commands Ezekiel to lie down on one side for 390 days for 390 years of Israel's sin and 40 days on another side to reflect 40 years of Judah's sin. Now, instantly another revelation came that Jerusalem was declared capital of Israel first on July 1980 and it has been 39 years until 2019. The Holy Spirit told to divide the numbers by 10 and took the base number. So, that means 39 years over and then same way dividing 40 by 10 will give 4. Adding 39 + 4 will give 43. So, the 43rd year from 1980 is going to be 2023. Pretty amazing, isn't it? It was mentioned that Israelites precisely spent 430 years in Egypt. Exodus 12:40,41. There are 39 books in OT followed by 4 gospels making it 43. There are only two verses that start with "In the beginning" in the entire Bible. The first one is Genesis 1:1, the first verse of the first book of the Bible. The second one is John 1:1 which is the first verse of the 43rd book of the Bible. So, if we add 43 to 1980, we land up in 2023.

19. The number 2 signifies Son of God. It also represents an extension of time. As per Hosea 6:2, after 2 days, He will revive us. On the third day, He will raise us. So, the 2 days is waiting time or extension. It represents resurrection of Jesus after 2 days on the third day. It also represents resurrection of Saints after 2000 years (For God, 1 day is like 1000 years. Psalm 90:4 and 2 Peter 3:8). Same way, we can see many other examples. Herod killed male babies within 2 years of age in Matthew 2. The brothers of Joseph met him after 2 years of famine in Egypt. Gen 45:6. Esther waited for 2 days of fast and on the third day, she met the king. So, if we take the base 2 and first multiply with 1000, we get 2000 years. so, we are after 2000 years first. Then, multiplying 2 with next denomination of 100, gives 200. But, it is too much out of overall time. So, the next denomination of 10 multiplied by 2 gives 20 years and then simply 2 years. The total puts 2000 + 20 + 2 = 2022 years and then the successive year is 2023.

20. I was reading the gospel of John first few chapters. When I was reading chapter 2, the Holy Spirit sparked me to observe the numbers. First on the third day, Jesus went to Cana. The number 3 represents the beginning of 3000th year after Jesus crucifixion and the wine represents the life. New life will be brought forth. Same is confirmed again in verse night where Jesus said destroy this temple, I will raise it up in three days. Initially, it applies to Jesus bodily resurrection on the third day. But, a closer look of verse 21 says, He spoke about His body which is a temple. So, we are His church as per 1 Cor 3:16,17 and 2 Cor 6:16.  This actually means the church will be resurrected after 2000 years on the beginning of the 3000th year. This is confirmed by Hosea 6:2 prophecy. The dead in Christ will resurrect first with glorious bodies and those who are alive will be transformed during the last trumpet. 1 Cor 15:51-13 and 1 Thess 4:17.

But, a sudden revelation came when I read John 2 verse 20 that says Jews responded to Jesus saying it took 46 years to build this. A connection is made with US presidential election that concluded recently. Joe Biden is elected as 46th president of US. If we apply Hosea prophecy to 2021 when Biden, the 46th president will rule, then the three days will reduce to simply 3 years. First year will be 2021, second will be 2022 and the third year will be 2023. It's a disconnect thing but still makes sense that it is precisely 46 years to build second temple and that number is quoted in Bible and the president of US at this time is the 46th president. It is worth noting that on the 47th day of Noah's 600th year, the great floods started and that might be correlating to the great tribulation starting with 47th president whereas the translation of saints could occur during 46th president.

Also, note down that 46 is a double of 23. (23 x 2 = 46).

21. Many of us know the smallest chapter of the Bible is 117 having just 2 verses. But, does anyone know the significance of Psalm 123 ? Psalm 123 is another unique chapter in the entire Bible just like Psalm 117. How? It is the only chapter in the entire Bible having just 4 verses. If I am right, no other chapter in the Bible has 4 verses alone. Please check and comment if you find any other chapter.with just 4 verses. There are 4 chapters with just 3 verses (Psalm 131, 133, 134 and Esther 10) in the Bible to my knowledge. The 4 verses represent the Tetragrammaton name of God (YHWH).

I already wrote about 117 in this blog. But, a new revelation is 117 can be written as (100 + 17) and 100 could map to 2000 and adding 17 will bring to 2017. The year 2017 could be the beginning of end times with Rev 12 sign happened on 23/09/2017. I wrote a separate article about 2017 - the beginning of end times. If we split 123 in the same way, it will 100 + 23 and it will map to 2023.

22. Psalm 22 is the 500th chapter of the Bible. The number 500 can be considered as total of 10 jubilees (10x50). Psalm 22 is a special chapter as it prophesied the suffering of the Messiah in a great detail. But, the next chapter after completion of this, i.e. the 501st chapter is Psalm 23 and this marks the new beginning.

23. Aleph-Tav is the unpronounced central word of Genesis 1:1 in Hebrew. There are total 7 words and this is the middle word and there are 3 words to the left of it and 3 words to the right of it. Aleph-Tav is equivalent to Alpha-Omega of Revelation where Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of Greek where as Aleph and Tav are the first and last letters of Hebrew. There are total 22 letters in Hebrew. If we add the ordinal positional values of Aleph (1) and Tav (22), we get 1 + 22 = 23. Jesus is the Alpha-Omega and we can say in Hebrew, that He is the Aleph-Tav (23).

24. The year number 2023 is not a prime number. If we factorize it, we get an interesting combination. 2023 = 17 x 17 x 7. We get the number of Victory = 17 squared up and multiplied by the number of perfection which is 7. How unique is this ?

25. The great floods happened in year 1656 from creation of Adam. This year number is significant. We saw there were 276 people saved along with Paul in Acts 27. 276 x 6 = 1656 and not only that, 1656 is also divided by 23, 1656 = 23 x 72 and 23 is the largest prime number among the factors. Can be split as 23x12x6 and further broke down into 23x2x2x3x2x3. So, it is 23 and then just 2s and 3s.
1656 = 23 x 72 = 23 x 12 x 6 = 276 x 6
276 = 23 x 12

26. Jesus is 77th from God as per Luke 3 genealogy. The difference between the 100 (10 x 10) and 77 is 23. Number 10 stands for governance and 10 square (10 x 10) just a double stress.

Now, there are 26 distinct points in this post about the number 23 and year 2023. Awesome, isn't it?

There are overwhelming scriptural and mathematical evidences that point to 23 and 2023 as we saw and we could count on the year 2023 for rapture to happen. But, even if rapture doesn't happen in 2023, still it is going to hugely significant. If not rapture, then may be the Tribulation or World War 3 could begin. But, let's wait and watch. I believe the great pandemic started as a warning 3 years before 2023 to give the watchers an important sign. But, I believe there will be many tribulations of Luke 21 that will be occurring in the next 2 years, 2021 and 2022.

So, my guidance to the readers is to lift their heads up now as in the Luke's 21:28,36. All glory, honor and praise to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Jubilee - 50 years

And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you. Leviticus 25:10

I wish all the readers grace and peace from our God the Father, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is my 50th article in the blog. I thank God in this special moment for His grace, that He enabled me to write this much as Paul says, "Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand." Galatians 6:11. I have dealt with various topics, end time articles, hidden meanings in Bible, about Biblical numbers and their meanings, about sin and temptation and a long series of New Creation which is the expectation of God for every believer. God graciously enabled me to complete that series. I praise the Lord for that.

As this is my 50th article, I would like to write about number 50. Bible holds a special meaning for 50. The word Jubilee derives out from Bible where God ask the Israelites to count every 7 times 7 years leading to 49th year and then 50th year is called Jubilee. Still we are naming the 50 year anniversaries as Golden Jubilee. Secondly, I am writing this on 27th of April which is the 118th day of this year and my last article was about 117. The specialty of 118 is that Psalm 118 which speak about an important prophecy of cornerstone. Not only that, it lies between the smallest and largest chapters of the Bible with 117 is the smallest having 2 verses and 119 becoming the largest with 176 verses.

The Jews were asked to observe the jubilee year on the 50th year and make it an year of deliverance where every slave is set free. The land is set free and returned to its original owner. The original owner of the earth is God Almighty as per Psalms 24:1, The earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. He was the one who designed, created and filled it with life. So, after certain time, on a Jubilee, the whole earth will be of God and His children again. What a revelation, this is the expectation through out the Bible. The other way to view the jubilee is that, Christ is our Jubilee meaning He is the deliverer of us. He delivers us from temptation and evil. He redeems us from sickness and troubles. He Himself became our Judge and our defender. He Himself became a curse for us and hung on a tree in order to redeem us from the curse of the law and to bring us the blessings of Abraham. To Him be glory for ever.

Let us see some of the interesting facts about the numbers of jubilee.

1. God counts the jubilees from creation. Genesis 6:3 says "And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also  is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.". Here God gives time of 120 years until the time floods come. Here, the hidden meaning is the time for the entire mankind in earth is 120 jubilees, which is 120 x 50 = 6000 years. At the end of 6000 years from Adam, Jesus Christ, the later Adam will start the millennium. This is the fore plan and the foreknowledge of God.

2. The above point is confirmed by the time when the great floods started. It started on the 600th year of Noah. Genesis 7:6,11. The base number 6 is about mankind and at the year of 600 of age of Noah, the floods started that means at the end of 6000 years the human government will be demolished.

3. Jonah warned people of Nineveh that there are 40 days to repent, otherwise Nineveh will be overthrown Jonah 3:4. People of Nineveh repented so the city was not toppled. Jesus gave the pharisees the sign of Jonah to Nineveh. They didn't understand that. Making a day converts to an year prophecy of Ezekiel 4:6, after 40 years of the crucifixion of Jesus, Jerusalem was overthrown. The siege of Jerusalem started in 67 AD and it went on to 7 years until 73 AD for the complete destruction of fall of Masada. Same way, now 40 days will map to 40 jubilees and that is 2000 years until the time of the return of Christ after His death and resurrection which is going to be in our times.

4. The last jubilee that Jews observed was in 2017-18. From that year on wards, there are more tribulations all over the world and this is confirming that the time of the return of Christ is at hand. We can feel that. The next jubilee cycle is going to be in 2067-68 in Jewish calendar. But, there are certain years missing in that calendar. Only God knows the exact number of missing years and in my opinion the resurrection of the saints and transfiguration will happen within next two decades, that is within 2040. This is the longest time range. But, there are many possibilities that this could occur within 2030 as we see the worldwide calamities.

Dear brethren, the day is fast approaching and we have to exhort one another and so much more as we the day draws near. Hebrews 10:25. I will meet you back with more information in my next article. I thank and praise God as He enabled me to write 50 blog posts. The articles that I wrote are very useful for me. If you find time, go through the new creation series. I bless you with Shalom Peace.

All glory, honor and praise, I give to Father through our Lord and Jesus Christ. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, love of the God and fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us, now and forever. Amen.

117

O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD  endures for ever. Praise ye the LORD. Psalm 117:1,2

Greetings to all the readers in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am very glad to update that I am writing my 49th article which is a special one because 49 itself is a very special number, 49 = 7x7. So, this article is also going to deal with a Biblical numerics and that's why the topic name is 117. This should be a certainly chapter.

I have written a lot about the number 17 in the past. But, here I am going to write about a special number 117. As the title verse have Psalm 117, you can thing about Psalm 117 which is the smallest chapter of the Bible that contains just 2 verses. But, today we will see few other special about 117. My grandfather, D. Paulraj was a visionary prophet who had many visions throughout his life and he interprets the dreams and they exactly fulfill as his interpretations. He died 12 years before on 1 March, 2008 at the age of 85. Before his death, when he lost his strength and bed ridden, he insisted me frequently to read the smallest chapter of the Bible which is 117. He used to say, "Oh, my grandson, I am not able to read as my eyes are not able to see. So, I just wanted to hear the smallest chapter." Then I used to read him Psalm 117.

It was 12 years since he passed away. But, what a man of God he was !. Just few months back, God revealed me why He insisted on Psalm 117 and He showed me the following amazing calculation. As we know, there are total 66 books in the Bible. When we split into OT and NT, there are 39 books in the old testament and 27 books in the New Testament. If we use 3, the number of trinity, to divide these we get the following calculation.

39/3 = 13  (Number that marks rebellion and judgement for rebellion)
27/3 =  9  (Number of love and the fruits and gifts of Holy Spirit)

When we multiply the results, we get 13 x 9 = 117. Psalm 117 is not only the smallest chapter but it is also the middle chapter of the Bible with 594 chapters before it and 594 chapters after it. The total number of chapters in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation is 1189. If we divide the total number of books by 3, we get 66/3 = 22. There are 22 alphabets in the Hebrew language. The book of Revelation has 22 chapters. Psalm 119 contains 22 divisions with each one associated with one Hebrew letter (Aleph to Tav) and each division contains 8 verses. The 22nd letter of Hebrew is Tav and this letter in Hebrew pictogram represents the cross. The 22nd book of the Bible is Song of Songs. The Song of Songs actually represents the Holy of Holies. It expresses the divine love between a male and female in their physical consummation to represent Jesus, the groom taking His Holy Bride with Him. It expresses the beauty of the Holy bride representing the true church. The real wonder is the Song of Songs too has 8 chapters (that represents Salvation) and the total number of verses in these 8 chapters is 117.

Not only that, but the total number of chapters in the first three books of the Bible is 50 (Genesis) + 40 (Exodus) + 27 (Leviticus) is 117. Amazing organization of the books and chapters, isn't it? The Holy Bible though written by various anointed people and arranged by different persons, we have the confirmation that it is written by Holy Spirit Himself. God has an amazing way of representing His handiwork.

Let's look into Psalm 117. There are just 2 verses. First verse says Praise the Lord. Second verse speaks about the grace and truth. The two verses simply spoke about Jesus Christ. John 1:17 (again see 1:17) says that the law was given through Moses but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. In the entire Bible, only one person has two names together and that is our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the first name which means He will Save His people from their sins and the second name Christ is a title which means Messiah or the Anointed One. There are 2 verses just to represent that our Lord has two names Jesus Christ which in turn represents His Grace and His Truth. That's what the second verse says. His mercy and truth are forever. Praise the Lord.

I believe this is one of the lot many hidden gems in the scriptures to be discovered and whenever Lord reveals I will update in this blog. May God bless you all. I praise my Lord with rejoicing and heart full of thanks that He enabled me to write 49 articles in the blog which is one of the greatest achievement. God bless you with His richest blessings. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, love of the Father and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.

Christ's actual birth date and the name Immanuel

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23

Greetings to the readers in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am prompted to write a small revelation on the potential month of Jesus' Birth. It involves an interesting calculation. We all know that Christmas is celebrated all over the world on December 25. But, did Christ exactly born on that day? or it could be some other day. There are some clues in the Bible to figure out when Christ could have born. We see God does things in patterns and He gives clues in the old testament.

All the New Testament events of Jesus, God would have pre-ordained them in the festivals of Israel. So, we need to study the feasts of Israel to understand when Jesus could have actually born. Let's first see how long Jesus ministered in the earth before He had gone to the cross. We all assume that Jesus ministered for 3.5 years and we call out that at the age of 33.5, He was crucified. This calculation directly comes from the age He took baptism as recorded in Luke 3:23, And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age. The period of His ministry is calculated from the various points of the feasts He observed. From prophecies, we could see 3.5 years or 42 months or 1260 days is God's divine appointment time. So, if Jesus ministered for 3.5 years and crucified on Nissan 14, which is the first month of Hebrew calendar, then going 6 months back will actually give us Tishrei 15 which was the 7 month and that is exactly on His 33rd birthday.

The Nissan date falls during March and April and coincides with the time of Good Friday/Easter that is celebrated in Christendom and Passover celebrations of Jews. So, it must be the same time of the month and Jesus would have been crucified during Spring beginning season. So, if Jesus had taken baptism around His 30 years mark, then He would have taken it around Tishrei 15 since 3.5 years from that point would lead to pass-over around Nissan 14. If the 30 year mark falls around 15th Tishrei, then Jesus would have born during the month of Tishrei. But, How do we confirm this? If at all we find a reference to old testament feast of Israels falling on this month and day, then we can try to relate.

Is there a feast of Israel falling on this month? In fact, all the three fall feasts are occur in the seventh month of Tishrei. The first feast which is the popular Feast of Trumpets (also called as Yom Teruah) should be celebrated on Tishrei 1. Leviticus 23:24 The second one is the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) that should be celebrated on Tishrei 10 Lev 23:27 and then the third festival is Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) which should be celebrated from Tishrei 15 - 21. Lev 23:34. We found a match. But, how can be assured that this could be the date when Jesus would have possibly born?

So, we would like to understand the feast of Tabernacles. God commanded the Israelites to celebrate the feast of tabernacles to remember that they stayed in Tabernacles during wilderness. Refer to my chapter Tabernacles for the complete information. God Himself wanted to come and stay with His people so He wanted to Moses to build a Tabernacle of Worship for Him too in the middle of the camp. It also refers that God will finally come down and stay with His people in Revelation 22 in the new Heaven and new Earth. But, how we could relate it to the birth of Jesus?

Here is where the name Immanuel takes significance. Though Jesus was signified with the name Immanuel from OT, He was not given that name. But, the name Immanuel means God with us. This could exactly relate to the birth of Jesus by signifying God Himself took a human body as a tabernacle and lived among us. Going through all of what an average man goes through in His life. He needed a body to sacrifice and fulfill all the old testament prophecies and finally He can dwell within us as Holy Spirit. In order to do that, He has to come and dwell with us in a human body which could exactly match the Feast of Tabernacles that fall on Tishrei 15. We don't need any further confirmation as if we move 3.5 years earlier we can exactly matche the feast of Tabernacles. This is a huge clue and hence Jesus would have been born during late September or early October and not during December 25 as we commonly celebrate.

But, He is dwelling within us now as Holy Spirit and made ourselves as a tabernacle. Here are few verses about Tabernacles from New Testament. Paul writes to the church of Corinth in his second epistle, "For we know that if our earthly house of  this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven. For we that are in  this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. Therefore  we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:" 2 Corinthians 5:1-6. Paul writes living in this body as being in tabernacle. Peter too wrote that he is living in a tabernacle, Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting  you in remembrance; 2 Peter 1:13. So, God Himself took a tabernacle in a body and born to Mary and that's why His name is Immanuel. So, it is more clear that this points to the fact that the birth of Jesus is at Tishrei 15 which should be around late September or early October. This is not to change the dates when Christmas is celebrated but to learn how connected the Bible is and how the clues are given for the reader who focus and analyze.

May He give more revelations to each of the readers and bring light to the world that we live in. May the Holy Spirit brings fruit in each of our lives and blesses us with all we need and gives His divine peace. May God's grace and peace abounds to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of the God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you. Amen.

Rejoice, Rejoice !!!

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:4

I wish all the readers of this article a blessed and joyful New Year 2020 in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. After a long break and after completing the long running New Creation series, I am happy to inform the readers that I am inspired by the Holy Spirit to write the research articles again. This is the 47th article of this blog. The number 47 is very significant in the Biblical Context. We will see the importance at the end of the article.

The message that God gave for this article is to Rejoice in Him all the times. As it is a new year, every one look forward for this year with great hope and fresh beginnings. God too says to His people rejoice in Him always no matter what could be the situation because He is in sovereign control over everything. Not even a single hair of yours will fall without His will.

Problems and worries are part of this human life and each person goes through one or the other problem during his life time. It could be a family burden, work pressure, financial issues or something else. But, the Holy Spirit says to rejoice in the Lord always. You may think, how is is possible to rejoice when we have problems. But, just realizing the Almighty God who is in charge of each second of our life is always there to take care of us amidst of all problems, will make us rejoice. It is written that the very number of the hairs in our head are counted and known by God. That is His wisdom, power, and sovereign authority. He takes good care of us.

But, even after telling to rejoice, the Holy Spirit always knows worries will be there. So, He says in the subsequent verse as follows, Do not worry for anything; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6. If you submit your problems to God with truth and faith, then the next verse will fulfill in your life. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. The peace of God surpasses all human understanding, this is the peace that Jesus was telling to His disciples. This peace cannot be given by the world but only by Jesus.

Until this point of time, the people of God were mourning and Jesus said you will mourn but world will be happy. But, from this point onwards, God says, Your sorrow will turn to joy. John 16:20.

Let's see the impact of number 47 in few points and wrap this article. Important prophetical significance is associated with this.
1. Genesis 7:11 says "In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.". This means first month has 30 days and the 17 days into the second month, the total gives, it is the 47th day of the year when the great floods started. We have already seen the importance of 17.

2. The previous verse 10 says, "And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth" which means Noah and His family entered the ark on the 40th day of the year and 7 days pass was observed by the Lord.

3. 47 is the 15th prime number. 15 can be written as 5+5+5 or and for every 5 if we use roman number V, it looks like VVV and it can also be written as Victory-Victory-Victory. King Hezekiah got a 15 year extension.

4. As of now, we have the 45th US president in Donald Trump. But, I believe everything would come to a close with the 47th US president which probably would happen in next two terms. But, when exactly that? We have to wait and see. I may be wrong here.

5. During the time of this writing, US and Iran are engaged in a warlike situation and that could escalate. But, I hope it will settle as small wars and will not escalate to World War 3 since Matthew 24 will happen again and the gospel will be preached unto all the nations before the end comes. Psalm 46:9. The LORD said Settle guys, War is over. Time is not yet up for WW3. The World will see the power of the Holy God for one final time as per Psalm 46:10.

6. Anyhow, we are getting to a dramatic closure with maximum time frame of next two decades before the glorious return of Christ and within this decade one can expect the rapture to happen and if not this decade, it will happen within 2035.

7. As per things revealed to me, the potential rapture timeline is 2020 to 2034 with higher chance of rapture happening within 2020 to 2028. But, I cannot reveal more details since they are kept us secrets and no man knows the exact day or year.

8. Psalm 47 is the first psalm that denotes the divine reign of God. Please read that Psalm where it hails the Lord God and the last verse says people are saved as the people of Abraham who is the Father of faith. People are saved not by works by through faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ.

9. 4+7 = 11 which is the number of Joseph. Joseph is one of the best foreshadows of Christ. The name Jesus Christ has 11 letters.

10. AK-47 is the rifle name that was originally invented in Russia and named as Automatic gun of Kalashnikov and 47 came because of it was completed in the year 1947.

11. Same way, in 1947, 29th November the decision to partition Israel was in place. So, 47 is way too significant. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ reigns not only from heavens but in earth as well. HOLY, HOLY, HOLY is the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY !!!.

But, what a glorious time we are living in. Everything comes to a dramatic close as we near the 2000 year of Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus. We may expect our savior soon. There are lot of other prophecies fulfilled which I cannot reveal in open forum like this. But, God has started to fulfill the OT prophecies in full swing from the year 2020. All His true children across the earth will rejoice but the wicked will have no peace.

May God be with you all, bless you, protect you and give you His divine peace. All glory, honor and praise to God, the Father, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Creation - Conclusion

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. Galatians 6:15

Greetings to you all in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the one who loved us, washed us through His precious blood, cleansing all our sins, made us Kings and Priests before God the Father. To Him, all praise, majesty and glory ascribe. By the grace of God, I am completing the New Creation series. As per the title verse, every true disciple of Christ is a New Creation and that's what matters the most. A person who is born again through the Word and Spirit of God. He walks in His ways. Psalm 119:3

God sees the inside and not the outside. It means how we project ourselves in front of others never matters to God. He sees the beauty of the soul and rewards each one accordingly. Jesus spoke about entering the narrow gate in Matthew 7:14 and then He also spoke about the false prophets who are after money and said to identify them through their fruits not by their outward actions and then He also mentioned that there are many people who say that they prophesied, cast out devils and worked miracles in His name but Jesus would tell do them depart from me, you worked iniquity. So, those who are not showing Jesus to people instead project themselves in the name of Jesus for name, fame and money making would be cast out. So, it is all about being real for God. Same way, there will be preachers who are blinded by the law and whose eyes were not opened on what Jesus has accomplished on cross. Hearing their preaching is useless as it only brings condemnation to the believers and will not bring transformation that God expects from the inside.

Dear reader, God first expect you to grow as a new creation in Christ. Then, He will use you and touch many people through you. Get yourself trained in the Word of God. Make your foundation on the Word as Jesus mentioned in the same chapter Matthew 7:24-27. If the Word of God indwells inside you, then it means that the Spirit of God dwells inside you and the Lord will work through you. You will inherit all the blessings that God has in store for you in eternity. Not only that, you will get all your needs met in this life as well. Matthew 6:33. If there is something short for you, if you have some ongoing trouble for you, remember Jesus know it all. He is watching over you and God will meet all your needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Remember how Jesus asked His disciples with care and concern "did you lack anything?" before His departure in Luke 22:35.

If you are a new creation and walking in the spirit, you will have the power of the Holy Spirit manifesting in your lives to overcome all the temptations and tribulations. It will be very difficult to go through the temptations and tribulations that you may even think it would be better to die instead of living through the moment. But, remember that as per James 1:12, let's resist temptation and get the promised crown of life. Blessed  is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

So, be cheerful. Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. I am telling you again you will be richly rewarded in heaven and you will share the eternal joy with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now as a new creation, you have a goal towards which you have to run with patience and the goal is Christ Himself who is the author and finisher of faith. Just refer to those who have already finished the race as faithful witnesses. Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset  us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of  our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1,2

There is one more thing which we are called to look unto the price of the eternal life. Nothing in this world should really took your attention from that goal such that we should push forth to that. Paul says this is the blessed hope in Titus 2:13 as Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ. When He returns all the sufferings that we endured here will vanish in a moment and we will be taken to live with Him in eternal joy for ever and ever. Let's look forward to the resurrection of dead and the transfiguration of living saints when our Lord returns for the Church. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive  and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:16.17 and same is referred to in 1 Corinthians 15:51-55.

Let's look forward for the blessed hope and it is not very far and it is going to happen in our life time as we are nearing the 2000th year mark of the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ. I bless every one who reads this and all the new creation series in the name of the Lord and may God glorify you through His glory. I will definitely write many more short articles that the Spirit reveals to me and motivates me to write from time to time.  All glory, honor, praise to the Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Creation - Overcoming the opposition

To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. Rev 3:21

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It has been a long time since I wrote the last article and I am really glad to resume with the articles. I didn't find the right time and mindset and focus to continue on articles. By the grace of God, again I found the motivation to continue. I am writing this on September 8, 2019. We are about to close the new creation series and this is the penultimate chapter and with the next chapter we will get into conclusion.

If you have gone through the new creation series, you could have identified that Christianity is not religious based movement instead it is all about the relationship with the true triune God through His Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The real goal of the Christian life is to lead a life like Christ, walking in the spirit, giving fruits, reflecting the nature of Christ and that won't happen without a continuous connection with the Holy Spirit. The connection with the Holy Spirit cannot go proper without a clean conscience so we need to walk pure with the clean heart in order to live a life like Christ.

Having said that, we have seen that there is an opposition in our lives here and the opposition comes from the world, our flesh and the devil. There are three types of problem that are in the world that impacts us lust of eye, lust of flesh and pride of life as per 1 John 2:16. So, there are temptations and troubles coming our way when we try to lead a Godly life as per 2 Timothy 3:12. In the past couple of articles, I have wrote about protecting ourselves from the temptations and withstanding troubles. In this chapter will try to focus on how to overcome the opposition.

First to overcome the temptations, we need to have the clear motive set in our mind and the motive is to attain the same glory of Christ in the eternal life. Our motive shouldn't be just getting into the heavens but we need to fix our eyes on what are all promised to us in the life which is to come. Even Jesus fixed His eyes on the eternal joy on the right hand of the Father which is set forth in front of Him and endured the cross. Hebrews 12:2 So, if we follow the role model of Jesus, we will overcome for sure. Please check the blessings of the overcomers in the messages to the Churches of Revelation and we have to fix our eyes on those eternal blessings. This must be our motive.

Secondly, we must know about how to fight the battle. Paul equates Christian life to three different types, warfare, wrestling and race. The first is the spiritual battle in Ephesians 6 where the new born Christian should be aware of the spiritual armor. The belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, feet with preparation of gospel of peace, helmet of salvation, shield of faith and sword of spirit, which is the Word of God. But, we should be aware of the opposition as well which is principalities, powers, rulers of darkness of this world and spiritual wickednesses of high place. Secondly, Paul sees a Christian life as wrestling and he instructs Timothy to wrestle in a right way 2 Timothy 2:5. So, we need to wrestle not with flesh and blood but against all the temptations and troubles that are brought against us by the opposition. Thirdly, Paul sees the Christian life as a race as he writes in 1 Corinthians 9:24, Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. and Why because to obtain an incorruptible crown. So, Paul says "But I keep under my body, and bring  it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." I Corinthians 9:27.

There are two kinds of people in every sport or game, One is players and another is Spectators. Only the winning player or team will get the prize but the spectators won't get anything. Today, most of the Christians are just spectators but only those who enter the race and overcome will get the eternal rewards. So, if you are troubled and tempted a lot because of your Godly life, then remember that greater prize awaits. Whenever you decline a temptation down for the sake of the Lord, His name is glorified and you will be eternally glorified. Remember even Christ said the same thing that there will be troubles for you in this world, but remember that I overcame the world. So, if you run your race, walking by spirit, bearing fruits and reflecting Christ in your life, you will surely be equivalent of Him as John says "but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." I John 3:2. Remember we are called to be overcomers and not settle for just average Christian life and the goal of Christian life is to be Christ like in this world so that we will be like Him in the coming life as well.

If you have this mindset and if you are in communion with the Holy Spirit, then you will surely reach there. There is only one thing which could stop you from reaching the eternal glory and that one deceiving this is the desire of money. There are two examples, one in Old Testament and one in New Testament who were greatly regarded but had fallen from their positions. Most of you would have guessed the New Testament example who is the famous example of Judas Iscariot who lost his position because of the desire for just 30 silver pieces. But, it is difficult to guess the OT example. The perfect example is Balaam, the prophet who had a great vision and revelation. In Numbers 24, he prophecied about Jesus and he also mentioned that his spiritual eyes were opened Numbers 24:3. This was a great gift that not even many great ministers of God had. But, even if his spiritual eyes were opened, his heart was on money so that he gave an evil counsel to Balak, the moabite king to make the daughters of moab to commit adultery with Israelites and made Israelites to eat and worship things that were offered to idols. Rev 2:14. His eyes were darkened as per Exodus 23:8, Deut 16:19. Finally, Balaam was killed in the battle by Israelites and he didn't die a death of righteous as he desired once. Numbers 23:10, 31:8. Peter and Jude quoted Balaam on a wrong note and Jude says that only blackness and darkness was kept for such people for ever. Why ? All because of love of money. Samson and David committed adultery but still they were recorded in faith giants in Hebrew 11. But, it is the love of money which is a slow but definite killer.

Keep yourself girded and walk in love, truth and after the Spirit. You will lead a true Christian life which is a born again life, having your soul regenerated every day with the Word of God. May you reap rich blessings in heaven. Let's give all glory, honor and praise to God the Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the grace and peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you now and forever. Amen.

New Creation - Caution against backsliding

Wherefore let him that thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. I Cor 15:12

Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let's continue the New Creation study and there are just 2 or 3 more chapters in New Creation series and we will go to plenty of excited topics there after. God gave plenty of revelations over the past few years and I will start to share them going forward. This chapter is fully going to be a sound of warning and caution for every believer who is living as a new creation. In the last chapter, we saw that we have an enemy who always tempts us until we live in this physical body and all his tests and trials are to pull us back towards our older life and the sinful ways. This could be a continuation from the last chapter.

Paul cautions the believers saying whoever thinks that he is walking upright in the Spirit should be careful that he shouldn't fall again. So, let's see how we can see that we can protect ourselves. The Word of God says, "And every man that hath this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure."I John 3:3. So, if we have right spirit of faith in God, we will protect ourselves carefully from the temptations. The person one who is a matured new creation and one who walks in the Spirit knows how to do that. Again Paul says, if you live by your flesh, you will die and if you destroy the works of the flesh by your spirit, you will live. Romans 8:13. Let's see how we can put that into action.

I think I had written a lot about temptations, about body, soul and spirit in my earlier chapters. Please refer back to TTT and Overcoming temptations and lust chapters for the details. But, in a short summary, when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, their physical eyes were opened and spiritual eyes were blinded. God created them as a spirit man who could control their soul and body. So, the spirit is like a master, the soul is like a servant and the body is like a slave. But, when they sinned, the fleshly body took over as master, the soul the servant and spirit became slave. So, we are all slave to sins and our spirits were dead. But, when Jesus was dead and rose from the dead, "He hath quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins" Ephesians 2:1. Those who were believe in Him were saved and their spirits were born again and their spirit became master again and body became slave. But, this truth is not known to people yet. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. John 8:32.

Now, the spirit still lives in flesh and the body still has its cravings for worldly pleasures. So, we are often tempted. When James quotes this, he writes it step by step, saying every one is tempted by his own lust, then when temptation becomes fulfilled, it gives birth to sin and when sin is fulfilled, it leads to death. James 1:14-15 and then he says Do not err, my beloved brethren James 1:16 to warn us.

So, the very first step to avoid backsliding is to figure out temptation points and avoid them. For example, if a drunkard is delivered from his drinking habit and when he is a new creation in Christ, he will still be tempted to go and drink back. But, how he can avoid the temptation. To stop going in the ways of the liquor shops, to stop meeting the friends who were his drinking partners. If he strictly practices these two steps, he can avoid the temptation which is a very good way of keeping ourselves pure. If lust is our problem, then we should keep our eyes from seeing wrong things.

Even if we carefully avoid temptations, the devil will try to bring more temptations. Now, how do we deal with that. So, we need to know how that temptation enters into us. If we observe, all the temptations enter through our mind. So, we shouldn't keep our mind idle. If we keep our mind idle, surely the temptations would enter and eventually we will commit sin. So, we need to keep our minds occupied with the Word of God, fellowship, meditation, our work and our family thoughts. If the temptation thoughts come at night before sleeping, memorize the scriptures and recite them until you get sleep to overcome those thoughts. It works. This is also temptation avoidance.

But, somehow if we are caught in temptation and yielded to it, now we need to break the temptation cycle. That is we need to stop the birth of sin by running away from it. Remember Joseph how he ran when things crossed the limit. We should keep ourselves in that position. Next, even if you miss this step and sin enters, remember not to fulfill it. Say for example, if you had slipped seeing an attractively dressed woman in your computer screen, if you close the window, it is like not sinning. But, if you click that link and if that takes you to another page where more explicit content is shown at you, then it will surely attract. At this point, you started to sin. But, even at this point you still have your conscience telling you it is wrong. You have to immediately feel that God is watching over you and looking deep into your heart at this moment. If you get this thought, immediately you will close the window and walk away. This is not fulfilling the sin even if you had fallen into trap. But, once you dig deep you have fulfilled the sin and surely it will lead to spiritual death. Wait, there is always return through repentance and then you can avoid. God will keep forgiving and cleansing you. But, if you had that habit, then slowly your conscience will go wrong and if that happens then it would be very difficult to repent and return back to God. Then, you will start to enjoy sin and you will be in a position where you love to sin more and avoid God. You will feel like, "ok, just this time. I may repent and return later. God will forgive so that's ok." You know what could happen eventually, you will be totally disconnect from God just enjoying sinning and forgetting what you had been once. This is the worst situation that could happen to the new creation which is called backsliding.

That's why it is best to avoid temptations at first point. One who practices that actually rules his body and he is the one who is lead by Spirit of God and then called the son of God, co inheritors with Christ. Romans 8:14-17. This doesn't come just like that but after a hard battle. But, God helps you in this battle to overcome. All you have to do is spend quality time with God through His Word everyday. That gives you power to overcome. God will help you but we have our own  responsibility as well to carefully protect the new creation. God will help the new creation believer to avoid temptation, but if he deliberately does that then he is called a dog or a pig.

I will give you the verses that give caution and warning against backsliding and close this chapter. All the apostles and prophets who explained the grace and truth of God warned the believers too against backsliding. The main verse is our title verse where Paul says whoever thinks He is standing should not fall. Even if we fall at times, we should try to come back again to new creation. "For a just man falls seven times, and rises up again" Proverbs 24:7. Scripture clearly says the judgement is for those who deliberately sin after delivered from that, For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries." Hebrews 10:27,28. The book of Hebrews also says, "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come. If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put  him to an open shame." Hebrews 6:4-6. Next, Peter says these people are like dogs and pigs as follows, For if after they have escaped the pollution of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known  it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog  is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire." 2 Peter 2:20-22. Read this entire chapter to get more understanding. Finally, Jude in his single chapter says "Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds  they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever." Jude v 11-13.

So, God will help you to overcome temptations and keep you from backsliding. But, you too need to keep yourselves connected to God so that you will not go astray. We will further connect in the next chapter which is Overcoming the opposition. All glory, honor and praise to you Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Creation - Withstanding Trials and Temptations

God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. I Cor 10:13

Greetings to everyone in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am glad to resume the New Creation series this year. There are plenty of new revelations I want to cover. But, I was stuck in this series for so long, around 1.5 years. There are few more chapters I have to cover and then we will be done with New Creation. We have seen about the goal of the New Creation in Christ in the last two articles, that is bearing fruits for Christ and walking in the Spirit fulfilling God's will. Now, in this chapter we are going to see what are the problems and troubles we face in the new creation life. We have to remember that each new creature in Christ have a common enemy in satan and the world. Both will fight in every possible way to make the new creation go weary and side track from fulfilling the God given goals. The main goal of trials and temptations that come from the enemy is to make us tired, lose the faith and then go back to the older ways of living thereby rendering us ineffective. We may remember the words of Jesus to Peter the night before our Lord's crucifixion. "And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren." Luke 22:32. So, we understand that the main goal of satan is to disturb our faith in God.

To learn more about the trials and temptations, please read my earlier chapters, TTT and Overcoming Temptations that I wrote in July and August 2017. Now, let's focus on the ways that the devil attacks the new creation. Being aware of the different ways make us ready to fight and give us half victory even before the test starts. There are essentially four main ways the devil uses to pull us back to the older ways. The first one is temptation. Temptation is about pulling back to worldly pleasures by hitting at the weak points of our old man. We should be aware even the inner man is born again and became a new creation still we live inside the old body which is prone to our older weaknesses. The lust of eyes and lust of flesh play main role in temptation. You may read more about the temptation of Eve and temptation of Jesus in my earlier chapters. In this, the devil will remind us of our older sins, attempt to throw new temptations to pull us back. Remember temptations are not sin in itself but it will lead to sin and we have to resist and reject the temptation to avoid sins. The primary weapon to overcome temptation and lust is knowing the Word of God and applying correctly to the situation. Please refer to my article on overcoming lust that will help a lot to fight back lustful thoughts. The Holy Spirit help you to overcome the temptations through the Word of God which is the Sword of the Spirit. Ephesians 6:17

The second one is trials and troubles. Often the devil will be attempting to bring in lot of troubles in our family, work or profession or through any other external ways. If that doesn't work, he will try to affect our health or the health of our family members. Remeber how satan tested Job. If not, then he will bring some quarrels and unnecessary strife between our family members or friends and try to target our peace. Be aware that these things will happen for sure because it is written that, "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution" 2 Tim 3:12. If you are going through this, remember Jesus is with you and He will deliver you at the appropriate time as He delivered Paul. "Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me." 2 Tim 3:11. The title verse shows that God will make a way to escape. But, pray fervently when you go through these situations that God will strengthen your faith. God will eventually deliver you from all troubles. These troubles are very much needed to bring us more glory. Remember a Goliath is needed for David so that he can eventually become a king. Same way, the worst troubles will help to exalt our faith and give us more eternal glory. 2 Cor 4:17. Peter also writes "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:" I Peter 1:7

The third approach the devil takes is to make us feel tired, bored and worried when we wait for our Lord to prepare us. He will make situations such that we often get into troubles and temptations so that we grow weary and distract from God seeking our own ways instead of pursuing God's ways. Often we feel like there is nothing happening from God's side and even we think whether God hears our prayers, whether God supports us during our distress, whether He loves us any longer. It may look like God is turning His face away from us leaving us to fight the battle all alone. But, all these thoughts are complete lies from the devil through the situations so that we walk away from faith or return to our older ways of living. How do we stay focused through all these situations and thoughts? Faith comes to the rescue. The stronger faith will overcome situations like this. It will always go back to the Word of God and through prayer and faith fighting back the situation. The Christian life is all about fighting like a warrior, staying strong like a wrestler and run our race like an athlete. Eph 6:11, 2 Tim 2:3-5 and I Cor 9:26. So, with practice comes endurance. Practice with Word of God and going through the situations strengthens your faith. This is a real test of a matured Christian character. You have to remember the metamorphosis process where a worm go through difficult changes and emerges out as a beautiful butterfly.

If you have overcome the first three obstacles, it will be a great journey and now you are a real tool in the hands of our Lord. 2 Tim 2:20,21. The fourth and rare attack of the devil is to make you feel proud of your successes and make you stagnant feeling you had achieved greater things. The spiritual proud and fame will pull down us from greater heights. I am seeing great and wonderful pastors and ministers and young musical talents who were bestowed with anointing of God's talents taking a different path and enacting the worldly styles and falling for heroism and misdirected from their direction. We have to remember one thing that Paul said in Philippians 3:22,23 he is not thinking he had already attained the goals and forgetting the past and reaching forth unto coming things, pressing on goals until the life endures. We are yet to make it to heaven and that comes either with our death or transfiguration when the Lord appears. The eternal rest and glory comes thereafter. But, until then we should remember the race is still on. We need to be watchful on the attacks that we are going through in order to overcome them.

I believe these are certain ways to overcome various fiery darts fired at us from the wicked. Ephesians 6:16. There is one central mandatory truth we must remember in order to succeed. That this new creation is entirely started by God and we are not fighting alone. I just think this verse whenever I face any of the above difficulties and that verse is, "For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." 2 Timothy 1:12. This assures me that our Lord is faithful to make our run successful and bring me to eternal glory. Its not me but it is He who called me and I am sure that He will fulfill His calling and that makes me to keep at rest. Same thing applies to you as well if you are serious about New Creation.

Dear believer, if you feel like you are going through lot of sufferings and pains in this world, be assured that you have double portion awaiting in the next world. But, fight the good battle of faith. Remember the one who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world. Final Victory is going to be ours. Our Lord fights the battle for us. One who called us for this new creation life is faithful and trust Him. He will be giving rest to you. May God's name be glorified. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. All glory, honor and praise, I give to you Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

New Creation - Walking in Spirit

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:24

Greetings to each of you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Again, it has been quiet some time from my last post. Usually, I write these posts on Sunday evenings. But, I had attended a Bible Study from April to October this year and hence I was not able to write these posts regularly. But, now that Bible Study was over and if God wills I will be writing more frequently from now on. Time flies by and it looked like we started the year 2018 and now we are in December 2018 and we are looking forward to enter 2019. May God's presence be with us all.

As I completed my last post of bearing fruits which is the ultimate goal in Christian life, I mentioned that I will be covering up the opposition to this new life in Christ Jesus. The opposition force is satan. The world around us and the flesh in which we live strongly inclined to satan and always try to drag back to our old lives. While I wanted to cover that, the Holy Spirit reminded me that I have to write one more post before that which is walking in the Spirit. To understand this, we are going to revisit what we had seen in the New Creation posts as a short recap.

Let's understand MAN. A man is tripartite being who is one together as body, soul and spirit. Gen 2:7, 1 Thess 5:23. This is exactly reflecting the triune God who is one God but exists as Father, Son and the Spirit. When Adam disobeyed God's commands, the spirit died immediately, the soul was separated from God and the body was as it is. But, there was something called flesh, which is the selfish nature that entered the man through his body. That's what exactly happened when Eve gave in to the devil when she was attracted to the forbidden fruit, she just yielded to temptation and satisfied her bodily needs and gave importance what her self/flesh needed than obeying what God expected. Now, 'I' (Mine) took precedence over 'Him' (God) and in the life of Jesus we saw that it is complete opposite. In his life everything was God (Him) rather than his own wishes. That's exactly revealed at the garden of Gethsemane when the flesh in the Jesus tried to direct him away from the cross, He prayed three times to Father for an alternative solution which He very clearly knew was against the will of God. But, He overcame the flesh and His self nature when He surrendered saying, "Not my will Father, but yours be fulfilled."

Apostle Paul later wrote that when Jesus was resurrected back from dead, "He hath quickened us from dead". Ephesians 2:1. Paul was writing about the revival of our Spirit which was dead when Adam transgressed. Now, the spirit is made alive in us through the Spirit of God, our soul is now connected back to God's soul and renewed every day by the Word of God and Spirit (2 Cor 4:16), but the poor body was still in the fallen condition. It was not redeemed yet and it will be redeemed only during our resurrection or during transfiguration. Romans 8:23 So, we need to understand that man was also created as a spiritual being but as Adam was fallen all the human beings were born in fallen state. Psalms 51:5 But, those who accepted Jesus are revived in the Spirit are considered alive in the Spirit and this is New Creation in summary.

Now, as you see, the real problem is the flesh which still works in us. We have the soul and spirit contained in the body which was pulled towards the flesh. James 1:14. So, there is a real trouble and there is a constant battle. This is a very tough battle and even the great saint like Paul too not an exclusion to this. He details this battle in Romans 7. Please read the entire chapter of Romans 7 and understand the works of the flesh, its lusts and how Paul struggled to overcome it. How to overcome the flesh is the most important study and Romans 8 deal with this in detail and hence that's why I said in one of my earliest chapters that Romans 8 is the most important chapter in the entire Bible (whereas John 3:16 is the most important verse and Isaiah is the most important book in my opinion).

So, what is the solution to for this struggle? The actual solution detailed in Romans 8 for this problem is about walking in the Holy Spirit. Most of the old testament saints who were under the old covenant never received the Holy Spirit in the same way as that of the ones in the New testament. Some of the OT heroes who were mentioned in Hebrews 11 were identified by God directly and anointed for a specific purpose. They received the power of the Holy Spirit to achieve specific tasks. For example, Moses have the spirit of God to release Israelites from Egyptian bondage, Joshua received the anointing of the Spirit of Wisdom to lead Israelites into the promised land, Samson has the Spirit of Strength, Samuel has the Spirit of Prophecy, David received the divine anointing of a King/Prophet/Priest. All of them were hand picked by God and anointed for a specific purpose to bring change to the nation of Israel. But, after Jesus Christ, the Son of God died on cross, shed His blood as a ransom for many and established the New Covenant, the most important blessing under the New covenant is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit inside every man who truly accepted Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:14. The promised Holy Spirit was poured out on the believers on Pentecost and it continues till to this day.

The Holy Spirit is called a helper who assist us to focus our thoughts and mind in heavenly things instead of focusing on the flesh and that's why Paul writes in Galatians 5:24 to walk in the Spirit so that we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Without the Holy Spirit it is impossible to overcome the flesh on our own. On the other hand, even if we have the Holy Spirit, we will surely be tempted and still it is certainly possible to sin. But, it is up to us to choose whether to walk in the spirit or walk in the flesh. So, it is the soul that decides which path we have to take. We might fall at times to temptation but a Christian who is matured in his new life knows how to walk in Spirit and not to fall for lust. He knows how to carefully avoid temptation. Because, he constantly endeavors to please God in his thoughts, speech and action. All these things are not possible without the Holy Spirit and that's how the new covenant Christians are made perfect by the Holy Spirit and that is the greatest blessing.

So, here is the crux of this article. Every believer who is a new creation in Christ lives inside the physical body which is prone to temptation because the lusts of the flesh will be at work until our death or our bodily transfiguration. But, the Spirit of the new creation is actually in connection with God's Holy Spirit which will actually call the believer to please God. This is a great struggle. Who will win ? It is up to the believer, his will to support either the Holy Spirit or the flesh. If the believer chose to support the Spirit of God, then He will not fulfill his lust and please God. If his will support flesh, then Holy Spirit will be grieved. He will caution us, speak to us, warn us and even help us to overcome the flesh but if we keep disobeying, He will leave. So, it is up to us. That's why it is written, "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live." Romans 8:13. Without walking in the Spirit, obviously we cannot bear spiritual fruits and hence we will not be able to fulfill our call and there will not be any purpose driven new creation life. But, if we walk in the Spirit, then we will be taught and lead by the Chief Shepherd, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This chapter turned out to be a big one but this cannot be shortened because this is the most essential one. To walk in the Spirit of God because we are the Children of the one true Holy God and it is written For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:14
Need to cover plenty more with respect to walking in the Spirit but I will try to make it part of a different series. I suggest all the readers to read and meditate on Romans 8 and Galatians 3-5 and understand about this important revelation of the Spirit.

I will get more into the fight and struggle we have against the new creation from next chapter on wards and going forward I hope to write article more often. Please continue to pray for me, that God give more revelations through His Word so that I can help many to see the true light of gospel. All glory, honor and praise to you Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

New Creation - Bearing Fruits

He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. John 15:5,8

Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. With last chapter, I have successfully wrote 40 articles which was the grace of the Lord. I am grateful to God for empowering me to write these things. I had really difficult times in the past but God had brought me safe thus far. Please pray for me that I do more of His will and the Spirit of truth reveal many hidden wonders in His word of God and I reveal them through this platform.

As mentioned at the end of the last chapter, this chapter is about the goal of the new creation which is bearing fruits. If you are reading the new creation chapters from the beginning, you would understand that we started the series to put focus on the goal of the Christian life on this earth. The Christians may wonder what they are supposed to do as children of the almighty God in this earth. One might wonder is the goal is to attend the Church and giving offering, living as a good law abiding citizen or doing the ministry of the Lord and bringing many souls to salvation or what else. The series started to address this important question and we actually came to the point where we deal about the goal of the Christian life. The goal of the Christian life is to bear fruits and bring glorification to the name of the Father.

Fulfilling God's will bring glory to Him. If you consider the world around us, from the tiniest of creatures to the huge creation, everything exists to do God's will. Even Jesus came as a human, to fulfill the will of God. Jesus says in His own words, "I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do." John 17:4 It means that fulfilling His will is glorifying Him and like Jesus if we too fulfill His will in our lives, we bring glory to His name. What is His will in our lives ? Whatever brings glory to the Father is His will. The verse of this topic says that "Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit". John 15:8. So, it means that though there are different goals and challenges in the calling of the individuals, the common will of the Father for every Christian is to bear spiritual fruits in His life and that way the Father's name is glorified.

How do you bear fruits ? That's the complete subject of John 15th chapter. Please read this full chapter with this perspective. As per the title verse, if we abide in Jesus, we automatically bear fruits as Jesus is the true vine and we are the branches. If we are connected to the vine, we will automatically bear fruits without efforts. John 15:1-4. The real meaning is the branch alone cannot give fruits, instead the fruit comes from the vine plant. It really means that it is impossible for us to bear spiritual fruits on our own. But, instead we should have JESUS living inside us through the Holy Spirit and if the spirit lives in us, He automatically bears the fruits of Christ for the glory of the Father and without Him we cannot bear fruits.

What is the spiritual fruit? It is a well known verse of Galatians 5:22-23 that the fruit of Spirit is love, peace, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self control. Do you know why Paul used singular term fruit instead of fruits. The singular term is used to represent all these divine qualities are considered to be within a believer who has Jesus dwelling inside of Him through the Holy Spirit. So, all these qualities are considered to be one fruit of one spirit, that is the spirit of God. We give all these qualities over and over again throughout our walk in the Christian life and hence we are known for our fruits. That's why Jesus said when He talked about finding false prophets, He mentioned that we can find them by their fruits. Matthew 7:16. Because, most of them speak and project themselves like a holy person but we cannot find fruit of spirit in their lives. Contradictory to them, the true saints of God will never talk much about themselves rather about God or His word.

We saw that the will of God is to bear much spiritual fruits for Him and what are the spiritual fruits and how to bear them. Let's see who bear these fruits. Bearing these fruits is not a straightforward task. Even though we have the Holy Spirit within us, we are not exempted from constant trials and temptations in our lives. A just born again Christian is considered to be babe and only a matured grown up new creation who is constantly revived by the Word of God through the Holy Spirit and who constantly walk with God by overcoming temptations and sins will eventually start to yield fruits. But the one who keeps growing, walking through all the worldly sufferings and still stands with the Lord, will reflect Christ in His day to day life.
It is written that, "but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not." I John 5:18, one more verse in 1 John says, "And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure." I John 3:3. So, it is not a short term goal but it is a life long goal and only one who is serious about His born again Christian life and one who is serious about the eternal glory will stand through and bear much fruits. One who doesn't stand in the Word of God and prayer cannot continue to bear fruit as Jesus said if the branch is not connected with vine, it cannot bear fruits. John 15:6

So, dear brother or sister, if you have reached this level and you think you are bearing fruits for Christ, then you are a blessed person. Because, you don't need teaching from others instead God Himself will teach you through His anointing and you will lead a successful new Creation. All you need to do is continue to lead the way and finish your race on a high note and then for sure you will receive your rewards for your good works that you have done in this earth.

With this chapter, I actually explained the main goal of the Christian life which is the purpose of this series. But, we haven't reached the end of the series yet. There are few important areas to be touched as we have an enemy of this new creation life and it is imperative to understand the devil's schemes in order to overcome. So, though the goal of the new creation life is bearing fruits, it is just not only about bearing fruits but it is one more thing which is overcoming because without that we cannot finish God's will in our lives. There are many rewards promised by Jesus for the overcomers in the book of revelation and we are going to start the exciting new journey which is a continuation of the new creation series.

All glory, honor and praise to God our Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
